As founder of Pinnacle, Bill has acted as legal counsel for over 100 closely-held companies with sales from $500,000 to over one billion. He has prepared and delivered over 1000 Comprehensive Personal Financial Plans to high-net-worth individuals. In addition, he assisted many clients with their complex business planning, estate planning, estate administration, and investment advisory needs.
Bill received his BA degree from Kent State University in 1966, his Juris Doctorate from the University of Akron in 1970, and his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation from the College of Financial Planning in 1984. After 47 years in the practice of law, Bill has limited his practice to estate planning, estate administration, financial planning, and investment advisory services to his personal and business clients.
Bill is semi-retired and a proud Florida resident, spending half of each year in Tierra Verde, Florida where he can walk to Pinnacle’s Tierra Verde office! In his free time, Bill enjoys spending time with his lovely wife, Kathy and adorable goldendoodle, Sammy. His favorite activities are biking and kayaking. Bill still spends summers and holidays in Ohio to be close to his 5 children, 13 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
